About My Business

I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with my children.  I was in the
accounting field for a number of years.  I decided to stay home with my children,
be the best mom I can be,  and pursue my passions at the same time.  

I love children, books, and I love to sew, plain and simple.  That's why I offer
nursing covers, baby rag quilts, and library/school book bags.

I remember breastfeeding my little ones.  It was a bit hard to adjust when I had
my first child.  In public, lots of people, with an especially unhappy and hungry
baby, and trying to get him to latch on without being able to see him.  I would
feel all thumbs, and get increasingly frustrated, which we all know will in turn
frustrate our babies and make it more difficult to nurse.  I only wish I had a
nursing cover when I was nursing!!  Now its my turn to give back, I want you to
be able to experience a level of freedom, and have a happy baby!

I can remember I planned my best friends baby shower and I made a quilt for
her new little one.  Everyone loved it.  They asked if I sold them.   At the time I
was still working outside the home on a part time basis and didn't have the time
to devote to anything else.  To do something I love and be able to be a full time
Mom?  This would be great!

Another inspiration was my local library.  I love to read books to my children as
much as they love to hear them.    It's great to bring home books from the library
and they always have their place, never getting ruined or lost.
